Marshall is an entrepreneur and leader with a passion and successful track record of investing and growing great companies. He founded his search fund, North Point Capital Partners and acquired Asset Recovery, an IT services provider. He also served as CEO and implemented strategies to generate record revenue and profitability. Asset Recovery was successfully sold to Arrow Electronics. He has been investing in the search fund ecosystem for over a decade.

Most recently, Marshall served as the of President of Compute North the leader in TIER 0™ data centers, focused on delivering the most sustainable, cost-effective computing in the world. Compute North was ranked the fastest growing company in MN in 2021 and Inc. magazine ranked the company No. 16 on its third annual Inc. 5000 Regionals Midwest list.

Prior to co-founding Northspring Partners, Marshall was the Managing Director at Arctic Capital, an acquisition holding company that acquired Columbus Hydraulics.

Marshall received his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and his BA from Bucknell University. He is currently an advisor to Compute North. Previous board positions include Asset Recovery, Columbus Hydraulics, Parsons Electric, Compute North, Parent Aware for School Readiness and Think Small, a non-profit that promotes early childhood education. Marshall is a member of Young Presidents Organization.
