John Mahony is the founder of Change of Command, a holding company that partners with retiring business owners based in Tennessee to continue to grow their companies and strengthen their communities for the long term.

John is also currently the CEO of Bailey Heating & Air, which has served the East Tennessee community since 1991.

After serving as a US Marine Corps infantry officer with combat deployments to Afghanistan, John was a McKinsey consultant and helped launch the African Leadership University School of Business. John was most recently the COO of With Honor, working to create a more effective government by promoting principled military veteran leadership in elected public service.

John is a graduate of Wharton (MBA), Harvard (MPA), and Cornell (BS).
